Nine Muses

Nine Muses Textiles is a collection by Tigger Hall, interior designer and textile house founder. The name Nine Muses derives from Greek Mythology, symbols of inspiration and artistic creation, who have been inspiring artists since antiquity,The collection showcases Tigger’s artistic heritage and her discoveries throughout years of travel exploring and researching textiles in Turkey, Morocco, Greece and India. The hand painting of each design blends her love of art and textiles into a collection that is fresh, organic and free moving.

Nine Muses Textiles reflects Tigger’s strong foundation of interior design and artistic practice, which complements her fabric house’s carefully curated and edited collections. Tigger grew up being inspired by a long lineage of creatives in her family, surrounded by textiles, palettes of mixed paints, visiting houses designed by Mary Hall-Best, which has influenced the bold use of colour in both interior design and the Nine Muses Textiles collection. “Having had my own interior business for 20 years, including a Designers Guild concept store, designing and working during periods when colour and pattern was used on every surface. The human mind reacts to colour no matter what the age”.
