Louise Jones

Louise Jones is a Melbourne-based designer whose designs are characterized by bursts of color, botanical motifs and bold shapes. From an early age, Louise was surrounded by her mother’s flourishing garden and its vast collection of ferns, flowers, natives and succulents. Exploring new gardens and parks is a source of inspiration for Louise’s work, and she is fortunate to have an abundance of Australian native wildlife as a constant source of inspiration.

Louise uses a combination of different mediums in her practice, including watercolor painting and her own photography in digital photographic collages to create original and custom patterns for fabric and wallpaper. Her textile range is digitally printed on a beautiful heavy weight Belgian linen, suitable for soft furnishings, drapery and upholstery and her wallpaper range is digitally printed on a premium heavy-weight smooth matt paper.
