Idarica Gazzoni has created a beautifully luxurious collection of wallpaper and fabrics whose inspiration is her fictional muse, Arjumand, an Indian Empress of the Mughal Dynasty. It is in her honor that the Arjumand Collection has been created.
All collections represent Arjumand’s travel inspirations, from the Moghol and Ottoman motifs of India’s Taj Mahal on to Genoan fabrics for the Russian court, Japan’s ancient indigo-dyed fabrics, and the stripes, squares and dancing flowers of the Miao population’s folk clothes in southeast China. The collection is a global mix of colorful patterns based on each region’s styles and atmospheres, history and decorative arts.
